SCHEDULE

D 1 (Night flight ✈️) KUALA LUMPUR

Papa Mama = Pen ✈️ Kul

Me = Sin ✈️ Kul

Meet my parent at KL 💗 and stay overnight for next day morning flight. It's been seven months to meet each other since i work in Singapore. Our first time far apart for more than half year. 👨‍👩‍👧

D 2 LOMBOK-SENGIGI

Set off to KLIA2, so called LCCT in the early morning for 3± hours flight to Lombok

Ps: If straight depart from KL, you will save part of the expenses. (flight and accommodation)
      LIA (Lombok International Airport) is new operate airport since last 3 years. Before this have to fly to Bali Denpasar Airport first and transfer to there with boat.

Once reached LIA, I bought a data sim card from a booth in airport. ( 2gb 50k R per month).

After that straight away look for Blue Bird taxi which recommend by travel blogger. 

Ps: You have to buy the blue bird taxi in the airport counter if you want to charge by meter reading which they didn't mention that in blog. There will be a lot of private taxi waiting outside, just ignore and walk you way to the blue bird taxi.

Airport ➼ Sunset House Sengigi (1 hour 30 minutes) 200k R per trip

⇢ Sengigi Beach

Purposely not to plan any activity for the first day.

Just wander around at the Sengigi Beach, after that had lunch in Joje bungalow.

⇢ Pura Batu Bolong (150k R-3 ppl)

Because of their temple's rule, we have to wear a pink scarf to enter their place. 

Donation amount is depends on yourself. 

⇢ Sunset and dinner 🍴

We went back to Joje bungalow for dinner and enjoy the sunset moment. ☀ 

Ps: Remember to bring along 2 pin multi plug adapter. All 2 pin plug in hotel. 🔌!!!

D 3 GILI TRAWANGAN- Day 1

Breakfast was provided by Sunset house. Nice breakfast 😋 So we just enjoy our sea view breakfast time, after that prepare for next destination.

 

Sengigi ➼ Bangsal (30± minutes-Habour) 100k R per trip
When reached Bangsal, Taxi can't go through a 5 minutes section to straight in front to the place of the ticket office. You can either walk or take their Sado which we called carriage. I chose carriage because its quite tired for my parent to walk with few bags.

Bangsal ➼ Gili Trawangan ( 45± minutes 66k R-3 ppl )

Only 1 official ticket counter

The perfect thing is, you hardly see car or motorcycle on those islands. You will saw maybe 1-2 motorcycle but its just battery-operated motor cycle. Love this!!  An unspoiled place ❗

⇢ Brunch @ NEW RUDYS

Check in to Blue Moon Hotel - Cozy medium room, a foreign owner. Just realised i booked a fan room when the owner tell me. 😂.  Papamama scare the hot weather cannot sleep well, luckily they had a good night tho. 

⇢ Lunch - Pearl Lounge 

There are lot of shop along the street. Every restaurant , cafe, bar in Gili all have their unique style! Is a tourism island mah. haha.

We rent 3 bicycles from the neighbor family, it cost 140k R-3 bicycles (before discount 150k)

⇢ Cycling around the island 🚲 

We went more than half of the island, they felt tired so we just ride till ombak sunset there.

We keep ride and rest along the island, its all beach view. 💖

⇢ Survey + Book snorkeling for 2nd day

1st 1m R, 2nd 900k R, 3rd 800k R, Blue Moon neighbour 800k R

I survey again after dinner and i get the price 750k R. 😎

⇢ Sunset time ๑ Ombak Sunset 

A picture-postcard place that must go when you travel to Gili trawangan, Its like a signature of the island. Everyone will automatically queue up just for a photo with the Ombak Sunset swing. About sunset, i think the sun feel shy because of too many people hahhaahah 

Everyone purposely came here for sunset, end up watched the sun hide behind cloud. ⛅

⇢ Dinner at the Pasar malam of Gili T 🍴

Just around 5 minutes walk after the habour.

Ps: It doesn't means that the seafood is fresh, even we're in an “island”

⇢ Night life along the Gili  T street ❗

Cafe, bar, music, party, alcohol.............. It will be a different night if i was travel there with friends.  🍺🍸 hahaah

D 4 Gili Trawangan- Day 2

Slow mode in the morning till 2pm 🕑. Breakfast, tea coffee, beach view, day dream = Perfect.
Plenty of bikini sun bathe view start from early morning 👙. hiakkk

⇢ Snorkeling

I booked Sunset snorkeling. 750k R - Private glass bottom boat, 3 hours till sunset, 3 snorkel point . 

New experience gained 💝

Another suprising moment happened when snorkeling at 2nd point, i saw tortoise and is not the place they call Turtle point. They said i'm very lucky . Unexpected one. heeeee

Another mini drama happened, I'd been unwittingly swam far away from the boat. Luckily still have the young man look after for me. That uncle knew we were very tired still purposely do nothing and laugh at us. hahahahaha Another dumbfounded memory 😜

⇢ Gili Meno

Is a very small island compare with the other 2 gilis.

He brought us walk around to the lake and that's all. Deep inside to the center is their village. They call there as " Honeymoon island". Because less tourist go there so is very quiet . haha

Ps: Plenty of ATM and also money changer in Lombok/Gilis, no worries.

D 5 GILI AIR

Gili Trawangan ➼ Gili Air ( 15± minutes 120k R-3 ppl )

Now only realized the price is a bit expensive if compare with the trip from Bangsal to Gili T! Again, have to mention this, 99% Ang mo lang (westerners) 😍 !

Hi Gili Air

Check in to the Sunrise hotel in Gili Air. The most expensive hotel in our trip. Sometime you need to spend for things that are worth being happy .haha Sometime!! 💸 Okay, a bit heartbroken, just a bit ❕❕ 

If you ask me, the view of Gili Air is the most stunning.

⇢ Snorkeling 🐠 , swimming 🏊 , sunbathe (15k-100k R per hour / day)
We had a good time with seaside snorkeling and sunbathe. Enjoyment of the day, more than enough. ♡

⇢ Lunch at Scallywags

⇢ 💈 Massage time   (Total-500k R) 

Purposely come here for hair treatment, but they said the hair oil out of stock. Down  😭 💔❕

So we choose other massage. (seaside room)

Ps: Nearly all of the restaurant serves western food. 🍝 🍔  Of course there are lot of choice of Indo food if you wanna try local cuisine.

⇢ Sunrise ☼
Lombok's sunrise time is earlier than MAS/SG. We woke up at 4.45 am and start waiting at 5 am. Stunning view form sunrise resort, perfect position. 

5 minutes yoga time on my own. ☺

D 6 SOUTH LOMBOK- Day Tour

Gili Air➼ Bangsal (Public boat 15± minutes 36k R/3 pax )

Day Tour- 500k R / Trip
Another Taxi driver, Setiawan. (Not the city name- Setiawan  from Perak Malaysia)
We made a deal with the driver who fetch us at the first day to Sengigi. But he send me another driver with same price.
Ps:They will pass their job to their friend when they cannot make it.

⇢ Selong Belanak Beach
Among these few beaches, Selong Belanak is the most busiest. Mostly rent the 'Umbrella chair ' for sunbathe. There is a popular surfing point for surf lover.  🌊 🏄

⇢ Mawun Beach
Nothing special but quite pretty and not so much people playing around the beach. Mostly local tourism there.

⇢ Kuta Beach

Erm. Not so attractive if compare with the others beaches. We reached there only look for hotel, just opposite the beach. Do nothing ♡ We look for hotel opposite the beach , walk in and register for 1 night stay, after left our things into the room, then went out again.

⇢ Tanjung Ann Beach

When we reach to the third beach, just have that "beach again?!'' feeling. haa. But i aim to go to the Bukit Merese which can see the full sea view. Mountain with seaside cliff, heavenly view !! 😇 

⇢ Bukit Merese ❗❗❗ 

Its just beside the Tanjung Ann. Awesome panoramic view at the top! Seriously. I love here. The sea view from the top of mountain stretches as far as the eye can see + Sea fog + Cliff + Evening sun + a lot of secret beach as you can see which are hardly to reach there under the cliff. Like those movie scene. 💜

D 7  LOMBOK-Day Tour

Day Tour- 600k R/ Trip
Because of the KUTA hotel's rule which you must only use their car service to others place instead of taxi from others place. Unless you are pick up by private car. So our taxi driver - his name Setiawan, pass the job of next day to his friend- Kasnadi which he have a private car. Its still the same price which we made the deal on the day before they switched.
What a coincidence, same plat number with papa's car plat 😁

The original plan was to go to the pink beach and waterfall.

We felt a bit tired after so many days, the driver also persuade not enough time blah blah blah, so we gave up for the pink beach (my desired destination) and just went for 1 waterfall + some local tour.

⇢ Air terjun Benang Stokel + Air terjun Benang Kelambu 

Hike for the waterfall. I love hike, but............hiking when you are on your last legs and sleepy cause by uncomfortable. 😫  My god. Exhausted!! Didn't expect that my mother completed the journey without any complaint, glad to see her had fun of it.

⇢ Dusun Sasak SADE
Lombok's cultural village and their traditional house. You can see a lot different types of souvenirs at there, but then all store are selling the same things.

⇢ Taman Narmada (Old Palace)

I'm totally out of energy when reach there. Super uncomfortable. No mood to walk around anymore. After this when i woke up again in the car, I 'd got a fever . Too bad

⇢ Pabrik Tenun ( Weaving art)
Since the time was still early before the time to access the immigration counter. (I done online check in).  So the driver recommend us to have a look at their famous weaving art. 

⇢ Airport at 4.30pm

Last----------- AIRPORT. Missing the days in GILI. I think i only can left behind all those phone and camera when i back to there for the third time. hahahaa Completely stay outside of my world and enjoy the GILI's life! 💕

Ps: Better plan those activities that will drain away your energy/strength before having a good rest. 

At first i planned this as a budget trip, cost within 1350 SGD , and aim to save cost as much as possible. Once i saw those restaurant/bar, I can't control myself to step into the restaurant/bar that have much of "feel" and looks delicious one without take a look at the price. Keep calculate with SG currency, "cheap horrr". But when pull myself  together  , in ringgit is actually quite expensive. 😓 
Above all, luxury trip for my parent's first time. Worth it !
